Bouygues Immobiler required an interactive DVD, a CD-rom and a Flash site to promote a development in one of Paris’s most upmarket suburbs, Puteaux. The solution I provided includes a picture I produced for the campaign (lady on cloud), line drawings of a city landscape and overall the site was a resounding success.
Technically sound
The main technical difficulty was to design to accommodate the different multimedia supports. I went ahead with Flash and limited the canvas to 720×576 pix to suit the French DVD market.
I kept every pageload as low as possible, and most images are called externally, “on demand”.
We decided to add a lounge track to fit the trendy appeal of the product accross the website, CD-rom and DVD.
My flash animations were exported individually as .mov files in order to be integrated in a DVD authoring software. Then i had to buld the menu and transitions for the DVD, add the chapter markers and PLAY ALL menu button.
Great Returns
The website receives in excess of 1000 monthly visits, many from France, but also from Dubai, London and New York, which makes it one the most exciting investing opportunities in real estate close to Paris.
Unfortunately, all apartments were sold less than 2 months after the launch of the marketing campaign which relied heavily on my work !
